The challenge
Event email is high-stakes in a way most email is not. A missed confirmation or a late reminder costs attendance, and the date does not come back. For a marketing workshop brand, the email had to fire on exact timing with no room for a slip.
What I built
I built the full event series, Series 45, covering every touchpoint from registration to a personalized post-event follow-up, all running hands-off on precise timing.
- Registration confirmation the moment someone signs up
- Pre-event reminders timed to hold attendance
- Day-of email with access details
- Last-day engagement push
- Personalized post-event follow-up
The risk
- A missed confirmation costing attendance
- Reminders that have to land on exact timing
- One shot at the date, no do-over
The result
- A 5-touch event series running hands-off
- Precise timing from signup to follow-up
- Personalized post-event follow-up included
Results
Precise timing and personalization are what make event email work, because the cost of getting it wrong is an empty seat. Once built, the series runs hands-off, so the brand can focus on the workshop itself instead of chasing reminders the day before.
